Vehicle of interest sought in serious injury collision.

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle of interest following yesterday’s serious injury collision in the Winlock area.  The vehicle is described as an older green in color SUV, similar to a Ford Explorer.

On 08/23/17, at approximately 1155 hours, deputies were dispatched to a vehicle versus bicyclist collision in the 600 block of Park Road in Winlock.  Upon law enforcement arrival the involved vehicle was not on scene.  The 18 year-old male bicyclist of Winlock appeared to have a fractured leg, as well as other unknown injuries.  As a result, he was airlifted to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA where he remains in stable condition.

Anyone having information on this incident, or the vehicle of interest, should contact the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office at (360) 748-9286, or Lewis County Communications at (360) 740-1105.
