87 year old missing Chehalis man located deceased.

Search and Rescue personnel located the 87 year old missing Chehalis man deceased this afternoon while searching a wooded area near his home.  At about 5:35 pm Warren Neal was located just over a mile northwest of his residence.  This location was among a trail he would frequent on his walks. 

Mr. Neal was originally reported missing to the Sheriff’s Office in the early morning hours of May 5th, and was last seen during the evening hours of May 3rd.  Sheriff’s Office personnel, along with the Lewis County Coroner’s Office, are still investigating the cause and manner of death.

87 year old Chehalis man missing/endangered

Deputies are looking for an 87 year old Chehalis man who is believed to be missing/endangered.  Deputies were notified by family members of the man’s disappearance during the early morning hours of May 5th.

Warren Neal was last seen around 10pm on May 3rd at his home near the 100 block of Fircrest Road in Chehalis.  Mr. Neal possibly suffers from dementia and may not be able to provide his personal information if contacted.  The family vehicles are accounted for, and Mr. Neal is known for often taking walks in the wooded areas around his home, but it is unknown if he may have been picked up or given a ride.  Mr. Neal is thought to last be wearing khaki pants and new balance running shoes.
