K-9 Narcotics Sniff Leads to Arrest

On 06-01-2024, at approximately 9:21 p.m., deputies with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of State Route 505, Winlock. Deputy Kasinger and his K-9 partner Kimbo were requested to respond to the scene for a narcotics sniff, and upon being deployed K-9 Kimbo alerted on the vehicle. A search warrant was applied for and granted, resulting in the recovery of over 41 grams of methamphetamine and a meth pipe. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody. Great work by all deputies involved, as well as K-9 Kimbo for his first week on the job.
