Community Glass Recycling Boxes

***Glass is not recycled in the curbside commingled recycling program in Lewis County, because broken glass can injure recycling workers, damage recycling sorting facilities and contaminate the entire load of recyclable items.***

Glass Bottles & Jars can be recycled at the following locations:

These containers accept glass bottles and jars without lids, colors can be mixed together.
Containers must be empty, clean, and dry.

No window glass, automotive glass, ceramics, drinking glasses, or mirror glass can be included in these containers!
