Recycle Your Christmas Tree & Unwanted Holiday Lights Today, Next Weekend

Residents can drop off their Christmas trees and burned out holiday lights from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, and Jan. 3, 4, and 5 in the parking lot outside the Centralia transfer station at 1411 S. Tower Ave. Only four days left to get your Christmas trees and holiday lights recycled! Please remove all decorations and tinsel from the trees. Donations will be accepted to support WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteer community outreach programs. Flocked and artificial trees will not be accepted. You may dispose of flocked or artificial trees at the transfer station, where regular fees will apply ($20 minimum for 340 pounds or less.) This event is offered in cooperation with Pacific Mobile and Lewis County Solid Waste Utility. Support provided in part by the Department of Ecology.
