Last Weekend to Recycle Christmas Trees & Holiday Lights

Friday, January 3, 2025 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Residents can drop off their Christmas trees and burned out holiday lights from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, Jan. 4, and 5 in the parking lot outside the Centralia transfer station at 1411 S. Tower Ave. This is the last weekend to get your Christmas trees dropped off for recycling! Please remove all decorations and tinsel from the trees. Donations will be accepted to support WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteer community outreach programs. Flocked and artificial trees will not be accepted. You may dispose of flocked or artificial trees at the transfer station, where regular fees will apply ($20 minimum for 340 pounds or less.) This event is offered in cooperation with Pacific Mobile and Lewis County Solid Waste Utility. Support provided in part by the Department of Ecology.
