Fall Community Recycle Event in Toledo
Saturday, October 26, 2024 - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Fall Community Recycle Event in Toledo will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.* at the South County Park, 212 Ray Road, Toledo. The following material will be collected for proper disposal or recycling:
Household Hazardous Waste Collection
- Unwanted or leftover household chemicals
- 10 Fluorescent or CFL Lights
- 5 gallons motor oil, 5 gallons antifreeze, 5 gallons cooking oil
- Customers must leave containers at event
- No containers larger than 5 gallons
- No paint
- No PaintCare items (Check for PaintCare items, locations at PaintCare.org)
E-Cycle Collection
- Up to two items per household
- All Flat Screen TVs, Computer Monitors, CPUs accepted Other TVs (less than 42 inches accepted)
Scrap Metal & Appliance Recycling
- Misc. scrap metal, lawn mowers (fluids must be drained)
- Household appliances (2 unit/household limit for washers, dryers, hot water heaters, stoves, refrigerators, freezers, dish washers)
Yard Waste Drop Off
- Grass clippings, leaves, branches, yard debris
Glass Recycling
- Customers may drop off glass bottles and jars.
- Containers must be empty, clean, and dry.
- No lids, window glass, auto glass, ceramics.
*Sensitive Document Shredding 10 am to 1 pm* Up to 3 bags/boxes per person
For Lewis County residential customers only! The event is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. When containers are full, the opportunity to recycle those items will end. Support provided in part by the Washington State Department of Ecology.
