Fall Community Recycle Event in Napavine-Winlock area
Saturday, September 28, 2024 - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lewis County residents will have an opportunity to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and recycle several items for free at a special event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596. Residents can bring in up to 10 fluorescent lights, 5 gallons of motor oil, 5 gallons of antifreeze, and 5 gallons of cooking oil per household. No containers larger than 5 gallons will be accepted. Customers must be prepared to leave containers at the event as staff will not have an area to pour the contents into. No PaintCare items can be accepted at this event. Please check PaintCare.org for a list of PaintCare items and locations for free drop off. Up to two televisions, computer monitors and CPUs will be accepted per household. Scrap metal will be accepted for recycling along with household appliances, but there will be a two unit limit for washers, dryers, hot water heaters, stoves, refrigerators, freezers and dish washers.
