East End Community Recycle Event today in Randle
Saturday, October 12, 2024 - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will take place from *10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (except where noted) at the Lewis County Area 7 Road Shop (Kiona), 8911 US Hwy 12, Randle, WA 98377.
Satellite Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: Residential customers may drop off their unwanted or left-over cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and other household chemicals. Please be prepared to leave your containers at the event. Workers don't have a place to empty them, and return them to customers at satellite events. Limits for these events are 10 CFL lights, 5 gallons motor oil, 5 gallons antifreeze, 5 gallons cooking oil, and no containers larger than 5 gallons. No PaintCare items can be accepted at this event. Television & Computer Recycling: Residents may drop off televisions, computer monitors, or CPUs for recycling. There is a limit of 2 items per household. This event cannot accept projection televisions, console televisions or televisions larger than 42 inches.
Fluorescent Light Recycling: Households may drop off up to 10 fluorescent lights to be recycled.
Scrap Metal Recycling: Residents may drop off scrap metal and household appliances such as washers, dryers, hot water heaters, dish washers, stoves, refrigerators, and freezers for free (limit 2 per household.) Make sure all fluids are drained from motors.
Sensitive Document Shredding from *10 am. to 1 p.m.: Residents can bring up to 3 bags or boxes of sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. The shredded paper will later be taken to a paper recycling facility.
