East End Community Recycle Event

Saturday, October 14, 2023 - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.


Lewis County along with community volunteers from Packwood are offering an East County Recycle Event at the Packwood Community Hall. Lewis County residents can drop off the following items for proper disposal and/or recycling:

Household hazardous waste collection:
Unwanted or left-over household chemicals
10 CFL Lights
5 gallons motor oil
5 gallons antifreeze
Customers must leave containers at event
No containers larger than 5 gallons
No PaintCare paint products

E-Cycle Collection:
Up to two items per household
TVs (less than 42"), Computer Monitors, CPUs

Scrap Metal Recycling & Household Appliances:
Misc. scrap metal, lawn mowers (fluids must be drained)
Washers, dryers, hot water heaters, dish washers, stoves
Please set refrigerated units in designated area

Tire Recycling:
Residents may drop off up to 12 passenger or light truck tires. Customers must unload the tires into a container. Glass Recycling:
Residents may drop off glass bottles and jars in the container for recycling. Different colors of glass may be mixed together. Containers must be empty, clean, and dry. Please throw away lids.

Sensitive Document Shredding:
The shredding truck will be on site from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residential customers may bring in up to 3 bags or boxes of documents they would like shredded. No already shredded paper will be accepted.

This event is a first-come, first-served event for Lewis County residents. When containers are full for a particular item, the containers will close.
