Release Information

Juveniles can only be released to their parent/guardian. If the parent/guardian is unable to pick up the juvenile upon release, there must be prior approval from the juvenile’s Probation Officer.

The parent/guardian must provide proper identification prior to the juvenile’s release.

*Medication will only be released to the parent/guardian.

If a parent/guardian refuses to pick up the juvenile from Juvenile Detention, the Juvenile Court staff will notify the local law enforcement agency and Child Protective Services (CPS) to report abandonment.
