The intention of this class is to strengthen your skills in identifying noxious members of the Apiaceae Family (Carrot/Umbel family).

  • We will be closely examining the differences between Cow Parsnip and Giant Hogweed
  • The differences between Poison Hemlock and Water Hemlock
  • How to tell Poison Hemlock apart from Wild Chervil (particularly in its rosette stage)
  • Differences between Bur, Rough and Wild chervils
  • How to ID Queen Anne's Lace (wild carrot)
