Here is an opportunity to pay back Mother Nature.
Friends of Seminary Hill Natural Area will be hosting their annual
work day to do maintenance to the Natural Area in Centralia.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 23 at 10:00 AM. Location: Seminary Hill Natural Area Parking lot off of East Locust Street & Barner Drive.
There are many opportunities for all ages to help, with varying degrees of difficulty and exertion (trail bed maintenance, ivy & blackberry cutting/pulling, spreading bark and gravel, debris/litter removal etc.) Some tools and gloves are provided, or you may bring your own.
Refreshments will be provided for helpers.
The "Friends of Seminary Hill" is a community group that is a partner to the City in maintaining the Seminary Hill Natural Area.Contact the Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board for more information about the invasive weed control work taking place at the Natural Area.
