West County Free Tansy Disposal Day (6/16)

Lewis County Noxious Weed will offer a Free Tansy Disposal Day today, Friday, June 16, in three locations in Lewis County. Please bag your Tansy Ragwort and tie the bag shut when transporting it and dropping it off. Here are the times and locations for the free disposal:

• Pe Ell at the Pe Ell School, 519 N 2nd St. from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
• Toledo at the Toledo Ball Fields, 5545 Jackson Hwy. from Noon to 1:30 p.m.
• Centralia at the Centralia Christian School, 1315 S. Tower Ave. from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Loose Tansy will not be accepted. It must be confined to a garbage bag that is tied shut. The schedule, as noted above, will be strictly adhered to, according to organizers. For more information, please call 360-740-1218 or email weeds@lewiscountywa.gov.
