Visit the Recycle/Composter Volunteer Booth at the Fair! (8/17)

Visit the WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter booth at the Southwest Washington Fair. Volunteers will be at their booth in the Floral Building from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today to share information about their programs, educational workshops, and community events. They have flyers to hand out about their upcoming Repair & Sustainability Fair scheduled for Sept. 23 at Centralia College. If you have something that you want to repair instead of throw away, or are handy in fixing things, stop by the booth to learn more! Also, check out their upcycled garden next to the North Gate entrance at the fairgrounds to see how to repurpose items in your garden and build a hugelkultur, a composting raised bed.
