Tire Recycling Event in Morton
Friday, May 7, 2021 - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A free tire recycling events will be held on May 7 and May 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Bob Lyle Community Center parking lot. The address for the site is 700 Main Street in Morton.
The events, which is for Lewis County residents only, will accept 15 tires per person, passenger and light truck tires on or off the rim, and semi-truck tires off the rim. Be prepared to show identification. Please do not bring tires from businesses, semi-truck tires on the rim, or heavy equipment tires. Sponsors are Lewis County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Utility Division; the City of Morton; Lewis County Health & Social Services, Code Enforcement Division, and the Washington State Department of Ecology.
