Styrofoam Recycling

Free Styrofoam recycling is taking place at the Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia. Styrofoam must be clean, dry, free of all tape and labels. Look for the #6 Recycling Symbol or EPS inside the symbol. If you are unsure, bend the material. It should break, and you will notice individual beads of Styrofoam. Place Styrofoam in clear bags, or place in bag at event. Black or opague bags cannot be accepted. Please do not bring in the following:
  1. No foil-covered Styrofoam
  2. Nop grey Insta-pak foam
  3. No other Insta-pak foam
  4. No spray-in foam
  5. No blue or pink insulation foam
  6. No hot tub covers
  7. No Peanuts (find re-use opportunities at local shipping businesses)
