Special Meeting of the Lewis County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (virtual only)

The Lewis County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) will host a special meeting at 1:00 p.m. Jan. 10 to receive an overview of the Lewis County Solid & Hazardous Waste Management Plan draft update. A consulting firm, Herrera Environmental, has been working with the SWAC and County staff to update the document. After the overview, and a question-and-answer session, SWAC members will consider whether to recommend the draft document be approved and forwarded to the Department of Ecology for its initial informal review process. The public is invited to this meeting to learn more about the Lewis County Solid & Hazardous Waste Management Plan draft update, ask questions, and provide comments. The comment period on the plan update will close at 5 p.m. Jan. 31, 2024. A Zoom link will be provided on the Lewis County Solid Waste Advisory Committee webpage closer to the meeting date.
