Packwood Recycle Event

Saturday, April 9, 2022 - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.


Satellite Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: Residential customers may drop off their unwanted or left-over oil-based paint, cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and other household chemicals at the Packwood Community Hall, 12935 US Hwy. 12, Packwood, WA. Please be prepared to leaves your containers at the event. Workers don't have a place to empty them, and return them to customers at satellite events. Limits for these events are 10 CFL lights, 5 gallons motor oil, 5 gallons antifreeze, 15 gallons oil-based paint, 5 gallons cooking oil, and no containers larger than 5 gallons.

Styrofoam Recycling: Recycle block Styrofoam or food-service Styrofoam. Please bag up like types of Styrofoam in clear bags, or place the pieces in bags at the event. The WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteers will be on hand to accept the material for recycle. The Styrofoam pieces must be clean, dry, and free of tape and labels.

Television & Computer Recycling: Residents may drop off televisions, computer monitors, or CPUs for recycling. There is a limit of three items per person.

Fluorescent Light Recycling: Residents may drop off up to 10 fluorescent lights to be recycled.
