East County Free Tansy Disposal Day (6/17)

Lewis County Noxious Weed will offer a Free Tansy Disposal Day today, Saturday, June 17, in three locations in Lewis County. Please bag your Tansy Ragwort and tie the bag shut when transporting it and dropping it off. Here are the times and locations for the free disposal:
- Randle at the Randle Fire Station #14, 9978 US Hwy 12, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Morton at Seasons Motel, 200 Westlake Ave., from 11 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
- Onalaska at the Onalaska Fire Station #1, 1722 SR 508, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Loose Tansy will not be accepted. It must be confined to a garbage bag that is tied shut. The schedule, as noted above, will be strictly adhered to, according to organizers. For more information, please call 360-740-1218 or email weeds@lewiscountywa.gov.
