What You Should Know About Measles March 2019

The first thing everyone should know is the good news that as of Friday, February 22, 2019, there have been NO confirmed measles cases in Lewis County.

Lewis County readers may have heard that there is a continuing measles outbreak in Clark County, and that cases have now popped up in states as far away as Georgia.  Measles outbreaks are rare and a great concern in any community where they appear. Public Health officials in Washington and Oregon are doing everything we can to prevent the current outbreak from spreading. You can help by educating yourself about measles, and even more importantly, making sure you and your family are up to date on immunizations. More
