Maintenance & Operations

Lewis County Maintenance & Operations is comprised of two separate divisions; Fleet Services and Road Maintenance.

The Fleet Services Division is responsible for purchasing, liquidating, and mechanically maintaining the entire fleet of rolling stock and off road equipment. Currently, Fleet Services maintains and services vehicles at two separate locations.

The Road Maintenance Division is responsible for providing cost effective, safe travel over the 1,053 miles of county roadway in Lewis County. To accomplish this, the division has:

• Five Road Maintenance Areas and Shops
• Vegetation Management
• Bridge & Guardrail Maintenance
• Commercial Vehicle Enforcement
