Free Tire & Vehicle Battery Recycling Event-April 23-25, 2015

A free tire and
vehicle battery recycling event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., April
23, 24 and 25, 2015, at the old Winlock Solid Waste drop box, 1105 Winlock-Vader
Road.

Passenger
and light truck tires, on or off the rim, and vehicle batteries, will be
accepted for free.

This
event, sponsored by the Lewis County Solid Waste Utility, Lewis County Code
Enforcement and the Washington State Dept. of Ecology, is for Lewis County
residential customers only (no business customers, please).

No
semi-truck or heavy equipment tires accepted.
