Proposed Local Court Rule

Lewis County District Court is proposing a new local court rule regarding Electronic Filing and Service.

Per GR7, the Court is posting the proposed local court rule for a 30 day comment period. Comments must be submitted in writing and received by the Court no later than May 21, 2026. All comments will be posted on the Court’s website. After May 21, 2026, the Court will consider any comments and adopt, amend, or reject the proposal or take such other action as the court deems appropriate.

Written submissions must be legible (if hand written), professional, and relevant to the proposed court rule.
