Pleasant Valley Road Shop hosts community recycle event
Lewis County residents will have an opportunity to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and recycle several items for free at a special event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 25 at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596. Residents can bring in up to 15 fluorescent lights, 5 gallons of motor oil, 5 gallons of antifreeze, and 5 gallons of cooking oil per household. No containers larger than 5 gallons will be accepted. Customers must be prepared to leave containers at the event as staff will not have an area to pour the …

Marriage license applications can be completed Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.The cost of a marriage license may vary from county to county. In Lewis County the fee is $172.00, payable by cash or check only. Credit and debit cards are not accepted. The Lewis County Road Maintenance Division is responsible for providing cost effective and safe travel over the 1,053 miles of county roadway. To accomplish this, the division has five Road Maintenance area shops, a vegetation & guardrail program, and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement.
