Lewis County District Court Judge R.W. Buzzard is empowered to perform marriage ceremonies under the laws of the State of Washington. Marriage ceremonies are performed at the Lewis County District Court Monday through Friday at 5:00 p.m. All members of the wedding party must arrive at the Lewis County District Court by 4:30 on the date of the wedding. Lewis County Technical Rescue Team In 2014, partnerships were made to form the Lewis County Technical Rescue Team. This team is comprised of the following departments:Lewis County Sheriff's OfficeChehalis Fire DepartmentLewis County Fire District 6Lewis County Fire District 15Lewis County Fire District 2This multi-agency technical rescue team services all 2,436 square miles of Lewis County. The team operates with and maintains a cache of specialized equipment centered in Lewis County.
