Since that time, there has been evolutionary changes in the level of service, organization structure, and governance of the program.Lewis County 911 Communications provides three essential services for Lewis County. Explore the County Budget using the OpenGov interactive transparency portal. Lewis County BudgetState law establishes the general requirements of Lewis County’s budget process. By law, many revenues must be spent in specific ways. This limits how the County can spend or cut costs to balance the budget.The Budget Department facilitates the development of the budget. All department heads and elected officials develop and submit their budget requests by early September. In partnership with the Washington State Attorney General's Office, this course is provided for commissioners and board members to help meet an important training requirement of the Open Government Trainings Act.
