All of the commissioners’ budget meetings are open to the public, and the BOCC encourages all citizens to participate, regardless of whether they join the Citizens Budget Committee. Budget meetings are tentatively scheduled for all day Sept. 23, Sept. 29 and Oct. 7, with additional, shorter updates planned in October and November. The Citizens Budget Committee also will meet with Budget / Risk Director Becky Butler numerous times throughout the budget-setting process.

For questions about the committee, including information about the time commitment, please contact Butler by phone at 360-740-1198 or via email at becky.butler@lewiscountywa.gov.

Please note that agendas for all of the commissioners’ official meetings – including the budget meetings – can be found on the Agendas & Calendars page at https://lewiscountywa.gov/offices/
commissioners/agendas-calendar/. Agendas are posted at least 24 hours in advance of any meeting (and they’re typically posted by close of business Friday for the following week’s meetings).
