County seeks volunteer to serve on Cemetery 9 board in Napavine

The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is seeking Napavine-area residents interested in serving on the Lewis County Cemetery District 9 Board of Commissioners.

The Cemetery District 9 commissioners oversee the operation and maintenance of the cemetery located at the corner of Fourth and Grand in Napavine. (A map of the district’s boundaries can be found online at http://tinyurl.com/yy7kxssd.)

Napavine-area residents interested in volunteering with Cemetery District 9 are encouraged to submit an application and a letter of interest:

  • By mail at BOCC, attn. Cemetery 9 vacancy, 351 N.W. North St., Chehalis, WA 98532.
  • Via email at Committees@LewisCountywa.gov (please include “Cemetery 9” in the subject line).
  • In person at the Commissioners’ Office in Room 210 of the Historic Courthouse at 351 N.W. North St. in Chehalis.

Applications are due by 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025.
