The current inmate telephone contract expires soon and Jail Administration is
looking at qualifications to update the current system to ensure the most
efficient and effective inmate telephone services. Qualifications must be
received no later than 4pm on January 9th, 2014.

Question: I see under #31 phone cards are purchased through your commissary provider, but we haven’t seen revenue reports stating such, please clarify.

Answer: During the current contract, we had the option of purchasing phone cards through the commissary provider or the phone provider. We chose to purchase through the phone provider for increased profit percentages.
