*BOCC Business Meeting / America 250 event

Attached is the agenda for the Tuesday, July 7, 2026, BOCC Business Meeting. We hope you’ll join us as we take some time during the meeting to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

Before tackling the day’s resolutions and hearings, we’ll commemorate our nation’s historic milestone with music and more, including:

• Performance of the Star-Spangled Banner by a local youth fiddle band
• Reading of the Declaration of Independence
• Remarks from former Commissioner Edna Fund and local historians on Lewis County's ties to the Revolutionary War
• Dedication of replicas of the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights to the courthouse by current Commissioners Lindsey Pollock, Scott Brummer and Sean Swope
