Lewis County is partnering with the community of Packwood to develop a subarea plan.
Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update
Beginning July 2023, Lewis County and all cities in the county are required by the Washington State Growth Management Act to update their comprehensive plans. Lewis County is coordinating this effort through the Planned Growth Committee.
Rural Housing Alternative
The Rural Housing Alternative will encourage creation of new housing types that are typically more affordable than single family residential, while fitting in the rural character of Lewis County.
