The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is administered by Lewis County Public Health & Social Services (PHSS). WIC services assure healthy pregnancies, healthy birth outcomes, and healthy growth and development for women, infants, and children up to age five. WIC is available at the Public Health Building, 360 NW North Street in downtown Chehalis. WIC staff also make monthly visits to Randle, Mossyrock, and Winlock. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) program that educates residents about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
