Fee Schedule
During the 2025 legislative session, the Washington State Legislature passed HB 1858 which increases the recording fee to $301.00 for recording an assignment, substitution, or appointment of trustee. Drop off sensitive documents at Community Recycle Event
The LeMay Mobile Shredding Truck will be at the Community Recycle Event at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 10. Customers may bring up to 3 grocery bags or boxes of sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. The shredded paper will be recycled after the event.

Bring sensitive documents for shredding to Repair & Sustainability Fair
Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be recycled at a paper recycling facility. The event will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the spring Repair & Sustainability Fair at the SWFT Center at Centralia College, 807 W. Pear St.

Class A Priorities
Class A noxious weeds are LCNWCB's highest priority for early detection and rapid eradication. The legal requirement for Class A weed control is total eradication of all plant parts. These weeds are either absent in Lewis county or are here with very limited distribution. The only class A species that is currently known to be present in Lewis County is a single infestation of Milk Thistle, which was found in a common dumping area of Centralia. Community Recycle Event scheduled for Napavine-Winlock area
Lewis County residents will have an opportunity to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and recycle several items for free at a special event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 10 at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596. They can bring in up to 10 fluorescent lights, 5 gallons of motor oil, 5 gallons of antifreeze, and 5 gallons of cooking oil per household. No containers larger than 5 gallons will be accepted.
