    The City of Vader is hosting its annual Chips for Trails Event at McMurphy Park on Annonen Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 19. Lewis County residents can drop off chippable branches and limbs that are no larger than 6 inches in diameter. This material will be chipped to spread on park trails.     Municipal Solid Waste (garbage): $120 per ton ($20.00 minimum for 340 pounds or less). A 3.6 percent refuse tax is added to each transaction. The fees are rounded using standard rounding rules.     Sensitive Document Shredding Event at the Community Recycle Event at the old Winlock Drop Box, 1105 Winlock-Vader Road, Winlock: The mobile shredding truck will be on site from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded.
