The Washington State Attorney General serves as the chief legal advisor and chief law enforcement officer for Washington State's government. The ATG is authorized to prosecute violations of state law, represent the state in legal disputes and issue legal advice to state agencies and the legislature. The majority of Landlord and Tenant disputes are considered to be a civil disagreement and the Lewis County Environmental Health and Code Compliance does not get involved.
