    Radio Service staff maintain and service a network of 22 communications sites throughout the county that provide first responder radio coverage.Additionally, they provide local trouble-shooting services (and limited technical assistance) to outside vendors to assist in identifying and making emergency repairs when equipment fails in the Communications Center.In 2019, they continued maintenance of mobile, portable and fixed base radio equipment for the county and agencies supported by contract.The Radio Services Administrator manages the Homeland Security equipment grants.     On 04/10/12 the Lewis County Coroner’s Office was awarded accreditation through the International Association of Coroners & Medical Examiners (IACME). This process began in 2011 and culminated with the inspection process on 04/10/12. We are now one of only five coroner’s offices in Washington State to have received accreditation through this association.The IAC&ME has established a set of accreditation standards and these encompass administration, facilities, forensics and investigative for a total of 130 standards. The Washington State noxious weed law, RCW 17.10, mandates that it is each landowners' responsibility to control or eradicate noxious weeds on their property and to prevent infestations from spreading to adjacent properties.
