The Lewis County Solid Waste Advisory Committee meeting for 1 p.m. April 8 has been canceled.The Lewis County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) meets at 1:00 p.m. the second Wednesday of every other month in the new Lewis County Public Works Building, 57 W. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) program that educates residents about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
