    In partnership with the Washington State Attorney General's Office, this course is provided for commissioners and board members to help meet an important training requirement of the Open Government Trainings Act.     "Which list is which?" Every year, the Washington State Weed Board adopts a noxious weed list, which goes into effect on the first of January. In the following months, meaning the early months of each year, the Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board adopts its own, county-level, weed list.     On January 1, 2026, all owners and operators of short-term rentals (also known as Air BnBs) will be required to register the rental through Lewis County. Owners/operators will have one calendar year to come into compliance.
