The Veterans Advisory Board is held the first Wednesday of each month at 11:00 am in the Lower Level BOCC Room of the Lewis County Historic Courthouse. This is an open meeting and the public is welcome. Veterans' Relief Fund Veterans or spouses of veterans may be eligible for assistance through the Veterans Relief Fund. Forest Patrol Assessments
If you are a property owner in unincorporated Lewis County you may be assessed a forest patrol fee for each parcel you own. If your parcel is under 50 acres you are billed a flat fee for each parcel you own. This money is collected by the county treasurer and remitted to the Washington State Department of Natural Resources. If you have more than one rural parcel under 50 acres in the same legal ownership and have paid more than one flat rate fee, you are entitled to a refund. Eradication: Class A Noxious Weeds Class A noxious weeds are Lewis County Noxious Weed Control's highest priority for early detection and rapid eradication. Generally, these noxious weeds are either entirely absent in Washington State or are only present in a very limited distribution. As such, and as required by law, the management goal for these weed species is total eradication in all plant parts. Lab Operating Schedule Change effective September 1, 2025Beginning Monday, September 1, the Lewis County Public Health & Social Services water laboratory will operate on a new schedule. The lab will be open weekdays during the first and second full weeks of each month.Please see our Water Lab Calendar Water Lab Calendar for specific days and times of operation.
