Administrative Office of the Courts Launches New Webpage to Aid Litigants Without Lawyers
The Administrative Office of the Courts' (AOC) Equity and Access Program has recently launched Self-Help Washington (SHW) to provide accessible resources to help people without lawyers to navigate Washington Courts. Morton transfer station accepts household chemicals today
Residential customers can drop off unwanted/leftover household cleaners, and lawn, garden and pool chemicals. They can also drop off up to five gallons of motor oil, up to five gallons of antifreeze and up to 10 burned out fluorescent bulbs.

About Lewis County Superior Court
Lewis County Superior Court is a state trial court of general jurisdiction situated in Lewis County. This court has state-wide jurisdiction and hears major criminal matters (felonies), civil cases including cases involving real property, domestic relations matters, appeals from lower courts (Lewis County District and Municipal Courts), and appeals from state administrative agencies. Superior Court also has jurisdiction in adoption, probate and competency cases.Juvenile Court is a department of Superior Court and hears juvenile offender matters as well as child dependency cases. Toxicology
In some cases, blood will be sent to a toxicology laboratory for testing to determine what substances may be in the decedent's system and what those levels are.This testing can take 4-6 weeks to come back at which point the results are sent to the assigned Forensic Pathologist who will use the results to make the final determination of cause and manner of the death. The Lewis County Segregation/Mapping processes recorded deeds and other conveyance instruments for real property to verify recorded legal descriptions, create, segregate and combine tax parcels. The County Geographic Information System (GIS) database is updated and kept at a current status. The Department updates ownership on all real estate transfers.
