This includes providing cleaning and sanitation services, as well as centralized mail services throughout Lewis County. The area of operation for the Facilities Division extends from Adna in the west to Packwood in the east, and from Toledo in the south to the county line in the north. Purpose The Planning Commission assists the Community Development department in carrying out its duties, including assistance in the preparation and execution of the comprehensive plan and the adoption of development regulations for Lewis County, Washington. The Planning Commission holds workshops and public hearings and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners, whom ultimately vote to approve amendments to the County’s comprehensive plan and development regulations. Lab Operating Schedule Change effective September 1, 2025Beginning Monday, September 1, the Lewis County Public Health & Social Services water laboratory will operate on a new schedule. The lab will be open weekdays during the first and second full weeks of each month.Please see our Water Lab Calendar Water Lab Calendar for specific days and times of operation.
