1. Scrap Metal & Appliance Recycling Event

    Lewis County residents may recycle scrap metal and household appliances for free at the old solid waste drop box at 1105 Winlock-Vader Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 19. Household appliances accepted in the recycling containers at the event include washers, dryers, hot water heaters, and dish washers. Please set refrigerated appliances aside in a designated area at the event. Refrigerated units include refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units. Please make sure all appliances recycled are free of garbage and debris. This event is for recycling scrap metal and household appliances. No other materials will be accepted.
