    Lewis County Superior Court utilizes audio/video recordings and Official Court Reporters. If a court reporter is present in the courtroom, there is no audio/video recording and a request for transcript must be made to court reporter.   4. Public hearing for the purpose of leasing solid waste transfer stations

    The Lewis County of Commissioners will host a public hearing on or after 10 a.m. March 11 in the Commissioners' hearing room on the second floor of the Historic Lewis County Courthouse in Chehalis. The purpose of the hearing is to consider renewal of the leases of its solid waste transfer stations in Centralia and Morton to the Lewis County Solid Waste Disposal District No. 1, a quasi-municipal corporation.   5. Recycle fluorescent lights accepted in Morton today (3/12)

    Residents may drop of household hazardous waste, including up to 15 compact fluorescent lights, for free from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 U.S. Hwy 12, just east of Morton. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, and pool chemicals.
