CHEHALIS – In an effort to help more dogs find their forever homes, the Lewis County Animal Shelter is holding a special dog adoption event – with extended hours and reduced adoption fees.     The Lewis County Solid Waste Disposal District No. 1 approved increases to certain fees following a March 25, 2024, public hearing.     New online applications are being implemented for parcel data and for mapping. The Assessor has a new PATS parcel lookup system (now called Lewis County Parcels), and the GIS Division of Public Works has reworked the online mapping programs to to be compatible with it.
