The Lewis County Juvenile Individual Treatment Court is a court-managed designed to provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional criminal case processing. This program focuses on the needs of the youth and coming up with an individual treatment plan. It may be offered if you are have a criminal referral and have an SUD and/or MH need. The Lewis County Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Plan, a document required by Washington State law, RCW 70A.205.040. The law mandates each county prepare a comprehensive solid waste management plan, and update it periodically, is nearing its current update phase. With collaboration from the Lewis County Solid Waste Advisory Committee -- an advisory group to the Lewis County Commissioners, each city within Lewis County, and a consulting team from Herrera Environmental, the Lewis County Solid Waste Utility has completed a draft update of the Lewis County Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Plan. We strive to educate our youth on how to use their own body weight to get exercise daily.Exercise has proven to help decrease anxiety and depression while improving mood and quality of sleep. Therefore, exercise not only benefits your physical body, but it also influences your mental health in a positive way.Here at Lewis County Juvenile Court, we teach our youth Tabata style workouts. In partnership with the Washington State Attorney General's Office, this course is provided for commissioners and board members to help meet an important training requirement of the Open Government Trainings Act.
