Lab Operating Schedule Change effective September 1, 2025Beginning Monday, September 1, the Lewis County Public Health & Social Services water laboratory will operate on a new schedule. Presidents' Day! Lewis County transfer stations are closed
Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton are closed all major holidays. They are closed today, Monday, Feb. 16, in observance of Presidents' Day. They will return to regular hours on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Lewis County Juvenile Court believes that physical exercise should be incorporated into everyday life. We strive to educate our youth on how to use their own body weight to get exercise daily.Exercise has proven to help decrease anxiety and depression while improving mood and quality of sleep. Therefore, exercise not only benefits your physical body, but it also influences your mental health in a positive way.Here at Lewis County Juvenile Court, we teach our youth Tabata style workouts. Designated Forest Land
RCW 84.33Land owners who wish current use assessment for property tax purposes on lands eligible for classification under the Designated Forest Land program must submit an application to the Lewis County Assessor's Office by December 31st. Applications taken in the calendar year prior to December 31st are inspected in the next year and either approved or denied. If the application is approved, it is taxed in the subsequent year.
