Municipal Solid Waste (garbage): $120 per ton ($20.00 minimum for 340 pounds or less). A 3.6 percent refuse tax is added to each transaction. The fees are rounded using standard rounding rules. About SWAC The Lewis County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) serves in an advisory capacity in the development of programs and policies concerning solid waste handling and disposal and to review and comment upon proposed rules, policies, or ordinances prior to their adoption (RCW 70A.205.110).
