Passport Applications
The Lewis County Clerk's Office is authorized by the U.S. Department of State to accept passport applications. Passport applications may be submitted, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday.We will attempt to process passport applications for everyone that comes into the office during the hours listed above, but the Clerk's statutory duties take precedence. Household Hazardous Waste Satellite Collection Fall Event: Winlock
Satellite Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event: Residential customers may drop off their unwanted or left-over oil-based paint, cleaners, lawn, garden, pool chemicals, and other household chemicals from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 8 at the old solid waste Winlock Drop Box, 1105 Winlock-Vader Road, between Winlock and Vader. Please be prepared to leaves your containers at the event. Workers don't have a place to empty them, and return them to customers at satellite events. Morton Transfer Station closed July 13-14
The East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 U.S. Hwy 12, Morton, will temporarily be closed every Wednesday and Thursday in July due to staffing shortages. Hours for solid waste disposal and recycling drop off on Monday (except July 4 when it will be closed), Tuesday, Friday and Saturday will be 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the inbound gates closing at 4:45 p.m. The Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S.
