Morton Transfer Station closed (July 27-28)
Wednesday, July 27, 2022 - 8:30 a.m. to Thursday, July 28, 2022 - 5 p.m.
The East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 U.S. Hwy 12, Morton, will temporarily be closed every Wednesday and Thursday in July due to staffing shortages. Hours for solid waste disposal and recycling drop off on Monday (except July 4 when it will be closed), Tuesday, Friday and Saturday will be 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the inbound gates closing at 4:45 p.m. The Lewis County Central Transfer Station, 1411 S. Tower Ave., Centralia, will continue its regular hours: Monday (except July 4 when it will be closed) through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with inbound gates closing at 5:15 p.m.
